Securing Medical Provision through Family-Friendly Personnel Policies

چکیده

Die bessere Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Familie ist eine der wichtigsten Säulen in der Gleichstellungspolitik des Ministeriums für Wissenschaft, Forschung und Kunst. Eine familienbewusste Personalpolitik ist imWettbewerb um die besten Köpfe an den Hochschulen und Universitätsklinika gerade auch in derMedizin unerlässlich. Immer mehr gut ausgebildete Ärztinnen und Ärzte gehen vor allem in den operativen Fächern an das europäische Ausland verloren. Deshalbmuss in Deutschland die Arzttätigkeit dringend familienfreundlicher werden. Dies fängt bereits beim Medizinstudium an und setzt sich bei der Facharztausbildung fort. Deshalb fördern wir das Projekt „Familienfreundliches Studium in der Medizin in Baden-Württemberg“ an der Universität Ulm. Ergänzend dazu unterstützen die Studentenwerke Studierende mit Kindern durch Kinderbetreuungsangebote und Familienwohnungen sowie Beratungsstellen an den Hochschulen. Die Tatsache, dass 39% der berufstätigen Ärztinnen keine Facharztbezeichnung haben, ist unbefriedigend. Bei einem Absolventinnenanteil von 58% sollte auch die Facharztausbildung in allen Fachdisziplinen besser mit Familienpflichten zu vereinbaren sein, um in den nächsten Jahren in Deutschland die medizinische Versorgung sicherzustellen.
